Good Design:         Here we have a photography website. I was searching through them to chose one for myself. This website is extremely user friendly. You immediately greeted with her work and her bio. Its bright, airy and has a refreshing layout. Everything you need is there on the right and easy to understand. Through out the website the feel is kept the same and you can tell what her company identity is. I personally was looking for pricing on weddings and I found it almost immediately. I unfortunately found she was out of my price range but kept reading her policy because of how inviting her site is. I happily found out that she offers a payment plan and might actually be able to book her. If her site wasn't so inviting i may have missed that and moved on. (On a side note after talking to her. Good Design:         CD holders are genius and are my good design pick this week. They com in all heights and are wonderful. They keep your cd's safe and together. You have a cover that twists one and off. This locks it into place so if you were to drop it, your cd's would be safe. It also keeps water from destroying them and scratches to occur. Its not to big that you cant keep it in a drawer. I personally think it looks cool enough to leave out as decoration. Now CD's are slowly becoming less and less because of flash drive,  but it makes them cheaper and when was the last time you loss a cd versus a thumb drive?                              Bad Design:     Have you ever encountered a door where your not sure if you need to pull or push? have you noticed a sign is needed to prompt you on what to do? Good Design:         My good design pick this week Is  photo frame. This particular one is perfect for my office. I am a photographer so i like to display my work for clients to see. Getting canvases done is pricey. Being able to print a small photo and put it in something that will draw the clients eye in is both important and necessary for me. I love the black framing with added gems. What girl doesn't love a little sparkle? The size makes it easy to place almost anywhere. On the back there is a spot that allows you to remove the current photo and add another one in its place.                                 Bad Design:      As You can see I have a glass candle holder. It is meant for one of those fancy tall candles but has a dual purpose. If you flip it over you can put a short candle in it. Bonus even is that it came a...

Good Design:         Here I have decided to review a stapler. So fist the color is a great choice. Its a little square but nothing I cant live with. There is a rubber gripping on the bottom that keeps it from sliding. Its also not to heavy and shaped well for if you are hand stapling things. The staples are easy to buy and easy to insert as well. Overall I really think its designed well.                               Bad Design:     Here we have a cat tap dispenser.Although I really love how cue it is it doesn't work well. If you are not careful when buying tap you may get one two wide. It sticks when you try to use it and the worst part is that its so light weight that you are forced to you both hand when using it. That wouldn't be a problem if most of the time you need to use only one hand. 

Good Design:         Here you can see my good design this week is the echo dot. I really love this thing. We have one in our living room and one in my office. It has a blue light when its working (works 99% of the time) and it flashes red when something is wrong (usually the internet is out.)The design of small round and black with the simple logo is great! You can put it almost anywhere. You can decorate it with skins or even but accessories for it, that can help with many things like mounting it to a wall if you wanted. Some of my favorite features are asking it for jokes and more practical asking it how to spell things because lord knows I can not spell to save the world. We also have it connected to our lights. Why? well because our light switch is all the way across the house (poor design for my house) and when we come in the door and say "echo turn on the lights" let there be light!
